Introducing IAC Architecture

New York, New York…

From Manhattan to Staten Island, from Brooklyn to the Bronx, passing by Queens, who has not heard about the city of New York. From the films of Woody Allen to the music of George Gershwin. A world of well-recognized references that Inalco wanted to convey with IAC Architecture, our particular point of view in the world of decorative trends.

In the past editions of Cersaie and Made Expo 2013 Inalco transmitted that idea, presenting an architecture studio full of style and personality. In true New York loft style, a cutting edge concept was recreated, a place where harmony and visual rhythm were part of the open space that Inalco designed to present their latest aesthetic proposals.

Every different space that formed the loft was decorated with a retro-industrial style. A singular proposal where the decorative elements highlighted each different ambient. The lastest Slimmker porcelain collections were used to decorate floors, walls and even several furniture elements.

Particularly worthy of mention was the curved façade, created using extra-large 1000x3000mm Magma Slimmker tiles in a bush-hammered finish or thefloor covered in 1500x3000mm Foster Piedra tiles, highlighting the architectural potential that large-format slimline tiles offer architects.

Inside the studio, the tiles used for the floors were taken from the Prints Vestige 2.0 series in a Negro wood finish and amazing 250x3000mm plank-sized format, the Boheme Decapé series in a Crema-coloured stripped wood finish and 1000×1000 mm format, the 1000x1000mm Handcraft Deco Gris series inspired by encaustic cement floor tiles, and the 1000x1000mm Handcraft series in a Crema-coloured finish with a warm texture evocative of handcrafted terracotta.

The Maze collection, in an extra-large 1000x3000mm format and polished Camel-coloured finish, and Oxide collection, in a 1000x1000mm format and Corten-coloured finish, were used on the walls of the reception and display areas, fitting in to perfection with all the other design features.

The studio also included a work area where the company’s latest high-performance innovations were showcased, such as its countertops, washbasins, raised access floor and ventilated façade systems or its new Slimmker Click tongue-and-groove dry-installation flooring system.
