Once again iSaloni arrives, one of those international fairs that we in Inalco are always looking forward. The ‘Salone del Mobile “in Milan hosts over 2,000 companies in more than 200,000 square meters of exhibition, in a new edition expected to receive more than 300,000 visitors from around 160 countries worldwide.
A great opportunity to discover, from April 14th to 19th, the latest trends and paths of the interior design world, that always comes with unique and distinctive perspectives.
In this edition, iSaloni again addresses three categories during the meeting: ‘Classical and modern design’, ‘International Furnishing Accesories Exhibition’ and ‘SaloneSatellite’. And with them, the city of Milan is filled with a spirit of change and trend that have turned this Italian city into one of the most important centers for the interior design sector worldwide.
Since its first edition in 1961, this international exhibition has hosted every year the best furniture firms worldwide, becoming an essential reference that is always present in our calendar of key events to visit.
In turn, the fair is flanked by two additional exhibitions, ‘Euroluce / International Lighting Exhibition’ and ‘Workplace 3.0 / SaloneUfficio’. The first one is focused on adding value to the world of lighting in all its facets, finishes and surfaces. While in Workplace 3.0 visitors can see a event with an innovative concept, focused on design and technology for workspace planning.
Furthermore, the exhibition ‘The Walk’ will occupy a huge space in Workplace 3.0. It´s an exhibition conceived by internationally renowned Italian architect Michele De Lucchi to display the latest ideas and designs in workspaces.
In addition to all the activities at the facilities of the fair, iSaloni again conquers the city of Milan with events in three major areas: Brera Design District, Ventura Lambrate and Tortona Design Week. These districts of the Lombard city will host presentations, conferences and diverse events that move to urban areas the latest creation and trends in interior design that can be seen in iSaloni.
This combination of events, known as ‘Fuorisaloni’, began in the 80s driven by companies from the decoration and design sectors and their activities have expanded in recent editions to sectors such as automotive, technology, telecommunications, art fashion or even gastronomy.
An encounter, within and outside iSaloni ´s own facilities that we in Inalco are very aware of, as we have always believed in combining our latest materials with the exciting future ahead.
